The Bachelor's program

The Bachelor's degree is the first professional qualification in the tiered system.

It enables students to start a career directly or to continue their studies and - even after a period of employment - to obtain a Master's degree as a further professional qualification.

The standard period of study at Fachhochschule Dortmund varies between 6 and 12 semesters, depending on the study program and type of study.

Admission requirements are the university of applied sciences entrance qualification, the Abitur or a previous education recognized as equivalent and, if applicable, special enrolment requirements. These may include, for example, the following requirements:
