Research project "Self-sufficiency, self-esteem and solidarity in homelessness support" together with Laura Nübold and Tim Sonnenberg in cooperation with bodo e.V. (since 2023)

Through a joint gardening project, we are working with colleagues from bodo e.V. to investigate the opportunities and limits of self-organization and participation for people experiencing homelessness. The project is funded by Fachhochschule Dortmund.

Research project "Study on male-male sex work in Dortmund" together with Laura Nübold and Leonie Hanke in cooperation with aidshilfe Dortmund (2022)

The field research examines male-male sex work services in Dortmund. The study was commissioned by the City of Dortmund in cooperation with aidshilfe Dortmund e.V.

Scientific monitoring of the project "Bildungsbegleiter*innen" of ruhrfutur gGmbH together with Wiebke Rentmeister, Laura Braun, Mihaela Zatreanu (2021/2022)

The aim of the project was to develop a certified training program for educational guides in the context of immigration from Eastern Europe. As part of this support, a survey of Eastern European immigrants in Gelsenkirchen was conducted in cooperation with AWO Gelsenkirchen.

Scientific monitoring of the "Nordstadtliga" together with Wiebke Rentmeister (since 2020)

The Nordstadtliga is aimed at young people and children in Dortmund and promotes local integration.

Research project "Civil society under pressure - the example of Aktion Courage" together with Jennifer Brückmann (2020/2021)

The "School without Racism" network stands for a culture of recognition in dealing with group-focused enmity and various anti-democratic currents. The study examines the focus of the attacks and the quality of the criticism, especially from the right-wing populist side.

Research project "Publications of Aktion Courage" (2019/2020)

This study examines the quality and topicality of the various publications of Aktion Courage e.V.

Action research day on housing and homelessness in Dortmund (2019) together with Stephanie Sczcepanek and Tim Sonnenberg (2019)

Together with over 80 Fachhochschule Dortmund students, homeless people in Dortmund were counted and interviewed.
