New vice rectors elected

The University Election Assembly of Fachhochschule Dortmund elected four new Vice Rectors on February 1, 2023. Prof. Dr. Stephan Weyers, Prof. Dr. Jörg Thiem, Dr. Ramona Schröpf and Prof. Dr. Franz Vogler will take up their posts at the suggestion of the designated Rector Prof. Dr. Tamara Appel.

With the election, the University Election Assembly of Fachhochschule Dortmund followed the unanimous vote of the search committee. "All four elected Vice-Rectors are an asset to the further development of the university, especially in terms of the focus on students, digitalization and the combination of research and teaching," explained Guido Baranowski, Chairman of the University Council of Fachhochschule Dortmund.

"Together, we will sharpen the profile of Fachhochschule Dortmund. This Rectorate stands for an open and sustainable university that has an impact on the region and society and actively shapes transformation processes," emphasized Rector-designate Tamara Appel.
