Review: International news from the university

  • Students from Medellín visit Fachhochschule Dortmund
16 Business Studies students from the Universidad de Medellín visited Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts in March 2026. The program included lectures on "Hidden Champions", Lean Six Sigma and international project management, exchange and a visit to the stadium. The visit was part of a close strategic cooperation between Fachhochschule Dortmund and the Colombian university. The declared aim of both institutions is to further expand their international exchange formats - in addition to traditional semester exchanges, in particular through short-term and online formats.

  • Visiting the Dortmund University Days: 18 students from three countries
The impression Fachhochschule Dortmund makes on prospective students from Poland, Romania and Slovakia was demonstrated during a visit to the Dortmund University Days on January 21/22, 2026: an excellent one. The guests learned how they can apply and the many ways in which Fachhochschule Dortmund supports students from other countries. With the personal exchange vor Ort, the DAAD-funded project "StartING Future" strengthens the international partnerships of Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and positions the university as an attractive place to study in the long term.
