Fachhochschule Dortmund is also involved in applied research into photovoltaics (PV) and balcony power plants in particular - in the BaSeEnergie project ("Balcony PV systems - self-determined use of renewable energy") in connection with the University Development Plan ( HEP(Opens in a new tab)  ), supported by practice-oriented expHEP(Opens in a new tab)  ), supported by practice-oriented expertise from the Laboratory for Renewable Energies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
