Shaping economic change

Business economists work with a lot of numbers and they analyze, plan, develop and design. They do this in private companies and in many other organizational units. In the Business Administration study program at Fachhochschule Dortmund, you will acquire the specialist knowledge, skills and methods required for this. The course is application-oriented and also takes into account extracurricular aspects.

Several study sections with a practical semester or semester abroad and a subsequent intensification phase

The seven-semester course teaches the basics of business administration and economics. These include personnel and corporate management, project management, marketing, accounting and financing as well as taxes, statistics, business informatics and supply chain management.
In the subsequent intensification phase, you decide on your personal study focus. These intensification subjects prepare you specifically for your future career. This is followed by an internship semester in Germany or abroad or alternatively a study semester abroad. There you will independently apply your business knowledge and the methods you have learned in specific fields of activity.

Bachelor of Arts, which enables you to work in fields ranging from HR management to logistics

After successfully completing the course, you will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).
