Our goals: save 10% on thermal energy and electricity
Under the title "Together less ...", in 2022/23, in addition to the technical savings potential, we pursued the goal of enabling all university members to save thermal energy and electricity by changing their behavior. To this end, we developed information, advice and support services.
The campaign was a complete success. We more than met our heating energy savings targets and were able to save over 20 percent (compared to the same period last year).
We are launching the campaign again for the 2023/24 heating period and want to work with you to consume less energy again. To this end, we have set ourselves the target of saving 10% heating energy in the period from mid-October to the end of March. A temperature-adjusted average value from previous years serves as a reference. We want to reduce electricity consumption by 10 percent throughout the year. Here too, an average value from previous years will be used as a benchmark.
