[online] Information event for prospective students - Master's in Social Sustainability and Societal Transformations

Information

Profile of the study program

The challenges seem overwhelming: wars worldwide and in Europe, climate change and environmental destruction, the rise of authoritarian states and the social and cultural divisions in many societies. Democratic politics, constitutional states and liberal societies are under pressure and seem to be reacting more than actively shaping the processes. Yet there have long been solutions to many of the prevailing problems. Transformation paths point the way to a social, environmentally friendly and democratic future. However, they must be recognized, tested and also implemented politically. This Master's degree program shows ways to social sustainability and social transformation, combines several scientific disciplines such as sociology, political science, psychology and philosophy and offers freedom for creative research experiences in the subject area under the close supervision of the lecturers.
