Innovation and sustainability in vehicle electronics and technology

The course focuses on the use of modern simulation methods in the field of design and the investigation of powertrain test benches. You will work with innovative drive technologies and alternative energy sources. In doing so, you will gain experience of the possibilities and areas of tension that sustainable mobility development entails.

In addition to developing your core engineering skills with the mathematics, computer science and systems theory modules, you can design your studies according to your personal inclinations and interests in the first two semesters through compulsory and elective modules. An interesting module catalog is available to you for the specializations in vehicle electronics and vehicle technology. Interdisciplinary thinking and teamwork are encouraged in working groups and projects. As part of the Master's project, you will acquire practical management skills in the Management Skills module. You will write your Master's thesis in the third semester in collaboration with industry or within the university in our laboratory facilities.
