KoSpiRIT - Cooperative Games and Team-Building Activities to Foster Connection for Resilient and Innovative Teams

Duration: 01/2026–12/2028

  • Funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space (BMFTR)
  • Part of the “Future of Value Creation” program, funding initiative “Work Practices for Creativity, Innovation, and Resilient Value Creation” (AKIRes)
  • Researching and funding social connectedness in flexible and hybrid work contexts as a key foundation for the resilience, innovative capacity, and collaboration of employees, teams, and organizations
  • Systematic research and comparison of cooperative analog, digital, and intangible games, as well as their limitations and potential for fostering social connectedness in the workplace
  • Empirical evaluation of their implementation in companies

In collaboration with academic, professional, and corporate partners, a digital KoSpiRIT toolset is being developed to help companies analyze social connectedness and select appropriate game-based and work-design measures.
