Standards
DIN standards & VDI guidelines
The specialist database Nautos contains full texts of valid DIN standards, including DIN-EN, DIN-ISO standards etc. (the abbreviation for the institute "DIN" must be included). DIN-VDE standards are not included.
In addition, all VDI guidelines in Nautos are available in full text.
Please note that no full texts are available for withdrawn DIN standards, only references.
Note: Nautos replaced the Perinorm platform in November 2022, the content provided has not changed. Please replace your bookmarks in the browser etc. if you have saved links in Perinorm.
VDE regulations
The VDE regulations database only contains the valid DIN VDE standards (VDE regulations) in full text. These are standards that are also VDE regulations. Full texts can be requested for withdrawn standards.
Please note that VDE regulations cannot be exported (i.e. saved on data carriers).
IEEE standards
The IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) database also contains many standards in full text that are published by IEEE. The following link will take you directly to the search in the available standards:

- Access to the databases is only possible from the university network or via VPN client (does not apply to the VDE regulations).
- The use of DIN standards is subject to copyright law. It is not permitted to pass on the data in whole or in part - whether on an electronic data carrier, by remote data transmission or as a paper copy - or to grant third parties access to the stored data.
Patents
The DEPATISnet database is available for patent searches. It contains patent publications from all over the world, insofar as they are in the German Patent Information System (DEPATIS).
