Events: The highlights of the anniversary year

FHestakt, SommerFHestival and of course the HY is on tour. Fachhochschule Dortmund is celebrating for a whole year - with students, with colleagues, with everyone! "We make it orange". A roadmap full of highlights until the big birthday finale.

  • On October 5, 2021, the university officially kicked off the anniversary year for colleagues. Under the motto "Be a fan of Fachhochschule Dortmund", teaching staff and employees were invited to a joint kick-off event in Dortmund's Konzerthaus. In addition to words of thanks, culture from the Dortmund Ballet and refreshing nutrition tips from Doc Esser, the highlight was a joint fan moment. For colleagues who were unable to attend, there is a re-live video of the event.(Opens in a new tab)
  • The official FHestakt for the anniversary took place on May 21, 2022 in the Konzerthaus Dortmund. "We proudly present": 50 years of Fachhochschule Dortmund. Together, around 900 people celebrated the past 50 years and the future of Fachhochschule Dortmund. Among them were guests from politics, Business Studies and society as well as lecturers, employees and students of Fachhochschule Dortmund. A look back
  • On June 12, 2022, the city hosted the "FestiWall" wall still life. The university of applied sciences contributed a coat of paint to this still life and was also on site with a few tables.
  • The big birthday came to an end with a large summer festival on June 18, 2022. BOSSE, Kapelle Petra & Rikas took to the stage in front of the blast furnace at Phoenix-Est. Despite very high temperatures on the hottest day of the year to date, around 4,000 visitors came to the SommerFHestival. A look back

All around was the orange "HY on Tour."  There is anniversary campus honey and anniversary cups.(Opens in a new tab)  To mark the anniversary, the Fachhochschule Dortmund has planted 50 trees in Dortmund  and anyone who needs a bit of peace and quiet can still find a place to sit in several locations, which have been "hingewürFHelt  " with the Fachhochschule Dortmund's partners.

Stay curious. Be part of it. See you there!
