Program

Bosses

BOSSE (from 20.00 hrs)

He is bursting with fresh musical ideas, inimitable wordplay and a remarkable depth of focus in his view of things. He stirs things up. Artistically, thematically, emotionally. In his songs, he gets to the heart of his view of the "now". With a swing of the hips and attitude. With ease and groundedness. That sounds and feels good: listening to someone who has found their own personal center and balance. In life and in music. Today, BOSSE is an established and celebrated name in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. www.axelbosse.de(Opens in a new tab)

Petra Chapel

Petra Chapel (6.30 to 7.30 p.m.)

The trio from Hamm/Westphalia makes solid, eloquent, German-language indie rock. The ensemble is joined live by the stage sculpture Gazelle. The band has already released seven studio albums, celebrated its 21st anniversary in 2018 on a major anniversary tour and can look back on numerous successes (current album "Nackt" cracked the top 50 of the album charts), curiosities (the video for "Geburtstag" has been viewed well over 4 million times on YouTube) and major appearances (festivals such as "Open Flair", "Taubertal" and "Rock am Ring" or TV appearances on various "Joko & Klaas" shows or Pufpaff's "Happy Hour"). www.kapellepetra.de(Opens in a new tab)

Rikas

Rikas (17.00 to 18.00 hrs)

Rikas and spring - they go together! That's why Sam, Sascha, Ferdi and Chris are even more excited to go on a big headline tour. It's easy to forget that this is already the fourth attempt at this tour. Yes, these are difficult times in which we live, but these four hombres will not let anything get them down. After their critically acclaimed soul-pop album "Showtime" from 2019, a sold-out tour and festival appearances at MS Dockville, Puls Open Air and the Southside Festival, the boys have continued to work hard. Warm-up with DJane Rosa and Sini LikkleLuv (from 3.00 pm)

Music will be playing at the SommerFHestival from 3 pm. DJane Rosa and DJane Sini will provide the dance atmosphere. Rosa has been DJing in Dortmund and the surrounding area for more than 20 years (Funktronix/Cosmotopia, Großmarktschänke, eldoradio*) and has helped shape the local club scene with her sound. Her preference for 60s and 70s soul and funk, disco, hip-hop, reggae and cross-genre styles define the groove when she spins the turntables.

DJane Sini LikkleLuv is also from Dortmund and developed a soft spot for music at an early age. At the age of five, she started a 20-year dance career. Then, after a family break, hip-hop dancer Sabrina Yenipinar became DJane Sini LikkleLuv. As a member of the Dortmund Blockbuster Soundsystem (TukTukSoundmobil), she regularly lets out the "Dancehall Queen".
