Lecture Paul Eis

Fast facts

Information

Paul Eis is an architectural photographer and artist based in Berlin and Vienna. His work moves between the poles of architecture, photography and art - the focus is on the visual transformation of the built environment.

He gained international attention back in 2015 with the series A Colorful Makeover of Architecture, in which he digitally transformed grey buildings into colorful, sculptural objects. In doing so, he stimulated a discussion about the aesthetic design of our cities.

In addition to his photographic works, Eis also creates large-scale installations - both independently and as part of the mais.arch collective, which he founded together with Max Meindl. His projects have been shown at the Venice Architecture Biennale and the ARS Electronica Festival, among others.

The lectures take place in presence and start on Mondays at 18:00 in the faculty lecture hall. The lectures are open to the public and can be attended digitally via the QR code. Attendance in person is required for recognition of the module EV 3 /Office Perspective/.

The lectures are recognized for members of the AKNW with 2 continuing education points. Participation is possible both on site and digitally. For digital participation, please register via the following e-mail address:
