Information

The DORTBUNT city festival has this logo with the addition "city" for all contributions in the city center. In addition, DORTBUNT.nebenan and DORTBUNT.live are part of the festival's triad.

Putting your own ideas into practice and experiencing science up close - Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts will be presenting its usual hands-on approach at the DORTBUNT.city festival on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

With its striking orange Citroën HY(Opens in a new tab) , the university of applied sciences can be found at the Reinoldikirche on Ostenhellweg from 12 noon to 6 pm.

Participation and trying things out are expressly encouraged at the FH stand: for example in the racing car simulator of the "Race-Ing. Team(Opens in a new tab) " or at the self-built arcade game machine of the group "42nibbles" with students of the Faculty of Computer Science.(Opens in a new tab)

Popcorn makes a visit to the FH stand particularly tasty.

The university's start-up and creative center SQuArE(Opens in a new tab)  will be there with a 3D printer, foil plotter and transfer press. Visitors can print their own jute bags, for example.

Meanwhile, the coffee bar and popcorn machine at the Citroën HY invite you to take a creative break and chat about studying and teaching(Opens in a new tab)  at Fachhochschule Dortmund. And did you know that the university is also an employer(Opens in a new tab) ?

The Family Service will also be providing information about its services, including face painting for children at the stand. Giant Jenga and giant Mikado will also be offering fun and games. And on the wheel of fortune, you can win coveted prizes from the FH store(Opens in a new tab) .

Come and see us! It's worth it!
