PHD EXCHANGE ZIMBABWE, SOUTH AFRICA AND GERMANY
Nordstadtgalerie(Opens in a new tab) is hosting the GT+SWP (Global Transformation and Social Work Practice)(Opens in a new tab) event in Dortmund this November. Five students from Zimbabwe and South Africa will be visiting to share their research and insights.

The 4 years GT+SWP program is organized in cooperation with the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). It builds upon the foundation between the universities: University of KwaZulu-Natal, University of Johannesburg, Midland State University of Harare and the University of Applied Social Studies Dortmund. The aim is to build SDG-partnerships (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) between countries of the "Global North" and the "Global South".
The content of the project focuses on questions of global transformation and its effects on social work actors. At November the 16th, 2023 you will have the chance to meet the students in person and learn more about their PhD work:
