International Project Engineering - MIP, combined study program

Classroom courses every four weeks on Fridays and Saturdays

You work on three to five modules per semester. The average time commitment per week is ten to fourteen hours. The face-to-face courses take place in four-week blocks on Fridays and Saturdays. Online learning units supplement the program. The degree is completed with a four to five-month Master's thesis.

The international orientation is particularly important in this joint degree course. During your studies, you will complete a project-oriented practical phase lasting at least ten weeks. Four weeks of this take place in the context of a professional activity abroad.

International aspects are also taken into account in various modules. You will deal with intercultural management as well as international employment law and improve your English language skills in the Technical Business Communication module.

Master of Engineering, which qualifies you for management positions and doctorates

After successfully completing the course, you will be awarded a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree. This fulfills the formal requirements for a doctorate and qualifies you for management positions.

The course is aimed at engineers who want to qualify for international roles in mechanical and plant engineering and project management while working.

• in the coordination of the specialist departments involved, such as process engineering, design, automation, construction, assembly, accounting and the legal department

The Master's degree is the basis for a doctorate. Graduates who wish to gain further academic qualifications have the opportunity to study for a doctorate at a university. This is possible via a cooperative doctorate, in which the university of applied sciences is a cooperation partner of a university.
