Emerging Artists - contemporary art from Dortmund is dedicated to promoting young artistic and creative talent. Artists and creatives are given a platform that provides visibility, offers the necessary know-how for professionalization and enables exchange and networking opportunities. The project reflects the diversity of the Dortmund scene: the graphics, exhibition design, photography and the educational program are created in cooperation with students and graduates of the local universities. All of this culminates in a curated group exhibition at uzwei in the Dortmunder U. Works by eight visual artists from Dortmund will be exhibited. The selection will be made by a jury of experts. The public, free supporting program is dedicated to creative industries as well as art and cultural studies topics.
