About the project
In the CPC project, chemical vapor deposition processes are being developed to coat injection molds.
The aim of the coating is to increase corrosion resistance and thus extend the service life of the tools.
Tool manufacturers, injection moulding companies and research institutes are working together in the project to not only optimize the processes technologically, but above all to make them economical and therefore practical.
