Study on the quality of life in Altenhagen
In cooperation with Fokus Altenhagen (Caritasverband Hagen e.V.) and under the direction of Prof. Dr. Michael Boecker and Meinhard Wirth, students from the Faculty of Applied Social Studies investigated the quality of life in Altenhagen.
To this end, the students developed questionnaires in German, Arabic, Turkish and English in order to do justice to the migration-sensitive structure of the Hagen district.
The results of the quantitative survey not only attracted a great deal of interest in the Hagen press, but were also taken as an opportunity by the administration and politicians to further address the topics mentioned. The starting point for this process was the presentation of the results at the meeting of the Mitte district council chaired by district mayor Ralf Quardt.
