Curriculum vitae

Studied literature/theater/film, visual arts, political science and philosophy at the University of Hildesheim and Creative and Performing Arts at St. Johns University of York/Englandfrom 1996-2001 as part of the study program Applied Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice.


Completed her studies with the diploma thesis Theatrical Confrontation with Media Reality - The Scenic Procedures of Elfriede Jelinek's "Stecken, Stab und Stangl" and Thirza Bruncken's production at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and Christoph Schlingensief's "Bitte liebt Österreich! First European Coalition Week".


During his studies he founded the performance ensemble 3%XTRA! with Christian Kumm and Bettina Land. Before, during and after his studies, numerous independent scenic projects in various contexts and constellations as well as work as an actor, dramaturge and theater and media educator.


From 2003 - 2006 doctoral scholarship holder at the University of Hildesheim and work on the dissertation "Kanzlerdarstellungen im Fernsehen. Inszenierung, Rolle, Figur" (published in 2009 under the title: "Die deutschen Kanzler im Fernsehen. Theatrical representation strategies of politicians in the key medium of post-war history, transcript: Bielefeld).


2007 Doctorate (Dr. phil.) at the Faculty of Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice at the University of Hildesheim.


From 2009 - 2012 research assistant for theory and practice of scenic representation at the Institute for Media and Theater at the University of Hildesheim Foundation.


From October 2012 to August 2013 substitute professor for ethics and education at Fachhochschule Dortmund


Since September 2013 Professor of Cultural Studies with a focus on Art and Participation at the Faculty of Applied Social Studies at Fachhochschule Dortmund
