The library has long offered FH members access to various e-books from the Springer publishing house. Now around 80,000 more titles have been added.
These are English-language e-books from a wide range of subject areas, including
- Computer Science
- engineering
- Medicine
- Business & Management
- Education
- Social Science
Funding is provided by the state initiative E-Books.NRW.(Opens in a new tab)
The e-books can be searched directly via SpringerLink. They cannot yet be found via the RiO literature search engine. This is due to the upcoming switch to a new library system(Opens in a new tab) .
The e-books can only be downloaded via VPN.
