Fachhochschule Dortmund is expanding its ties within the Ukrainian higher education sector. A cooperation agreement has now been signed with Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University (ZPSU).

“In terms of content, the ZPSU is a very good fit for our department’s portfolio, so we aim to cooperate extensively, similar to how we do with our Indian partners,” reported Prof. Dr. Carsten Wolff, who had participated in a delegation trip to Dortmund’s sister city, Zhytomyr. “The contact was established through our partner university, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA), as well as through the city of Dortmund.”

As a first step, the plan is now to admit ZPSU into the German-Ukrainian University Network (DUHN) of the University of Applied Sciences, which is funded by the DAAD in connection with the “Project and Innovation Management for Ukraine (UA4PIM)” initiative.
