Pauline Greve(Opens in a new tab) , a trainee at Fachhochschule Dortmund, has been particularly successful in her final examination as an office management assistant. Not only did she achieve the top grade of "very good", but she is also the best graduate in her field of training in the chamber district of the Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
Pauline Greve began her apprenticeship in August 2021, which she was able to shorten due to her above-average performance and complete in January 2024. Ceremony for top trainees
In a ceremony for the 66 top trainees of the winter examination 2023/24, the Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce also honored Pauline Greve's graduation with a certificate and trophy. "I would like to congratulate you on this great success. You deserve our special respect and recognition for this outstanding result in the final examination," said IHK Vice President Christian Zurbrüggen, addressing words of appreciation to the graduates, whom he honored together with IHK Managing Director Stefan Schreiber.
In his laudatory speech, Christian Zurbrüggen also thanked the training companies, the trainers and the vocational colleges for their extraordinary commitment. He also praised the dual training system as a globally recognized model of success. Particularly due to the shortage of skilled workers, the continued high level of willingness to train on the part of companies is of fundamental importance for the success of Business Studies as a whole.
Background
A total of 2,126 trainees from Dortmund, Hamm and the district of Unna took part in the final exams in winter. 90.64 percent passed the exam, but only 66 candidates, like Pauline Greve, achieved the top grade - that's 3.1 percent of all candidates.
