Fachhochschule Dortmund establishes "International Career Service

Published

An International Career Service is being set up at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. In the future, this service will support international students in particular on their qualification path with even more tailored offers for successful studies and a career.

The basis is a successful UAS application in connection with the FIT funding program of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The abbreviation FIT stands for "Promotion of International Talents" for integration into studies and the job market. The project, which has now been launched, has a volume of 993,094 euros and will run for five years.

"The International Career Service will expand and network already established advisory, information and qualification services - and thus offer international prospective and current students support throughout the entire student life cycle," explains Dagmar Hösch, Head of the International Office at Fachhochschule Dortmund.
