A Pokémon costume, a digital watch, a blue wig and a remote-controlled car: Fachhochschule Dortmund employees bought these and 96 other wishes, wrapped them up for Christmas and handed them over to the Dortmund refugee aid organization "Train of Hope".

"Gift Sleigh" is the name of the campaign, which has a firm place at Fachhochschule Dortmund in the run-up to Christmas. As every year, employees from "Train of Hope" collected wishes from migrant children. The Organization and Perspective Management (O-PEM) of Fachhochschule Dortmund advertised these wishes throughout the university and all employees who wanted to take part chose one or more wishes and made them come true. After just a few days, someone had registered for every wish.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, employees of the "Train of Hope" association received the gifts at the FH location on Max-Ophüls-Platz. The association has since distributed the gifts to the children and made sure there were lots of smiling faces.
