Published

The INFamily network(Opens in a new tab) , which was launched 10 years ago as part of the "No child left behind" program in Dortmund, aims to offer tailored, supportive services as early as possible, including prevention chains, in order to give children and families an appropriate start in school and work.

The network structure and work as well as the services, measures and projects of the INFamily network in the six districts - Hannibal-/Brunnenstraßenviertel, Libellenviertel, Märchensiedlung, Westerfilde/Bodelschwingh, Clarenberg and Hörder Neumarkt as well as Scharnhorst-Ost - were examined by Prof. Dr. Viola Hartung-Beck(Opens in a new tab)  and two students from the Master's "Social Work: Youth in Theory and Practice"(Opens in a new tab)  of the Faculty of Applied Social Studies as part of an evaluation with regard to the goals set.

The results were presented on November 2, 2022 together with the patron, Lord Mayor Thomas Westphal, Monika Nienaber-Willaredt, Head of the Department for Schools, Youth and Family, and Christin Jasper (ISA Münster) at the Bürgerhaus Dorstfeld as part of the INFamily network development conference.
