From August 21 to 25, 2023, the Writing Week took place again at Fachhochschule Dortmund. Organized by the Writing Center, it offered students from all faculties the opportunity to concentrate on writing their term papers and theses together with others - true to the motto "Shared suffering is half suffering!"
In addition to plenty of time and space to write, participants could also expect input and advice on topics related to academic writing. There were also exercise programs from university sports. Furthermore, the writing week was also a good opportunity to exchange ideas with other students and get to know many different players at the university.
As in previous years, the library was once again represented in the program: With an input on the topic of source evaluation and subsequent research advice as well as advice on the topic of citation.
