Rector Prof. Dr. Tamara Appel and Chancellor Svenja Stepper honored 76 employees of Fachhochschule Dortmund for their special commitment at a ceremony for "performance-related pay" (LOB).
The Rector and Chancellor thanked the employees from the faculties, institutes and administration for their very good performance with certificates, flowers and words of appreciation. The LOB ceremony took place on February 25, 2026 in the Senate Hall on the Sonnenstrasse campus.
Introduced in 2011, "performance-related pay" has established itself as an important instrument from the perspective of the university management. The award is linked to a one-off performance bonus of up to 3,000 euros. The amount of the bonus is determined by the respective department and is independent of the individual salary. This year, not only individuals but also special achievements by teams were taken into consideration.
