Acquisition proposal

Please note the following instructions for completing the form:

• The form "Request form" is used by lecturers, staff and employees of the administration of Fachhochschule Dortmund to order media (printed books, e-books, standards, guidelines, etc.) for work equipment.
• The media are financed from the budget of the person placing the order.
• The media are procured by the library via the book trade, processed and sent to the customer by internal mail.
• If you have any questions about the financing details, please contact Department I, Division 1, the budget officer in your faculty or your faculty secretariat.
• Please ensure that the bibliographic details are complete and correct (author, title, ISBN, price).
• If you are ordering books or other media that are intended to be given as gifts to students or third parties, please check the appropriate box on the request form. In this case, our library discount does not apply.

• For the purchase of e-books, we will check whether a campus license is available for the desired e-book. If so, and if the title fits the library's acquisition profile, the purchase will be financed from library funds. If the e-book may only be used locally and not within a network, it can only be purchased from the library's own funds. We will then check whether an order via the library is possible and give you feedback.
