The use of media and the know-how in dealing with it are an important part of the training in our faculty. The faculty's equipment pool has devices available for almost all media tasks. Cameras, laptops and projectors can be borrowed with appropriate professional instruction.
In the department's own photo studio, images of a wide range of work results from the various teaching areas are produced under professional conditions. Students can also photograph their projects here under supervision or independently and then edit and print them out at one of the student workstations.
In the photo studio, students and lecturers receive project-related and individual advice on the conceptual and technical use of media. The media lab provides advice and support in the processing of material that has already been created (plans, photos, texts) and its final presentation in the form of exhibitions or printed products.
Work appointments are arranged for the use of the photo studio, during which an introduction to the camera and lighting technology is first given and then assistance can be provided in the realization of the various photographic tasks.
