What is science in architecture? What are the interfaces to other research disciplines and approaches? And where is the corpus of organized knowledge to be found at the Faculty of Architecture at Fachhochschule Dortmund?
Against the background of a theoretical classification by Sen. Prof. Dr. Achim Hahn (TU Dresden), short presentations from various research and doctoral projects will highlight the faculty's diverse research spectrum. The subsequent discussion rounds will focus on these research approaches. In a panel discussion, the often controversially discussed scientific strands in architecture will be examined in a concluding overview.
The Research Day of the Faculty of Architecture will take place on 19.11.2021 from 10.00 to 15.30.
