The University IT department provides students, teaching, research and development as well as the service areas with modern IT infrastructure and up-to-date IT services.
University IT is responsible for the provision, operation, organization and further development of central IT systems and IT-based communication systems as well as their network infrastructure and associated services and processes.
It coordinates the university-wide use of networks, systems and software as well as IT security and IT projects. A comprehensive range of consulting and support services supports users in the IT environment. All students, members and affiliates of Fachhochschule Dortmund have access to the Internet and to online and web services.
