On October 6 and 7, 2026, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts will be exhibiting at the vocatium Wuppertal in the Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal. Interested parties can visit the fair from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. and find out in detail about the range of courses on offer at Fachhochschule Dortmund.

The Faculties of Applied Social Studies, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Business Studies will be represented. At the Fachhochschule Dortmund stand, pupils will receive detailed information on the individual study programs and can discuss content, admission requirements and career opportunities. The direct discussions with representatives of the subjects offer valuable insights and help students to decide on the right course of study.

vocatium Wuppertal is a trade fair for vocational training and studies aimed at young people in the career orientation phase. Around 49 exhibitors from the fields of training, studying and counseling are available for personal discussions. In addition to traditional training and study programs, the exhibitors also provide information on dual study programs, internship opportunities, voluntary services and stays abroad. An accompanying lecture program will provide additional knowledge on job profiles, training paths and career opportunities. Visiting the fair is free of charge.

How to get there

Leave the main station through the main entrance to the left and follow the street "Am Hauptbahnhof" for about five minutes uphill towards the IntercityHotel. You will walk directly to the historic building on Johannisberg, which you can also reach after just one stop on bus routes 603 or 613.
