Invitation to the listening evening

At regular intervals, the "storyLab kiU" invites guests from the arts and sciences to the "Dortmunder U" to discuss the present and future of audio-visual arts with them over bread and wine in the format of a dialogical salon.

FM Einheit is a sound researcher, co-founder of the German punk band Abwärts and was the percussionist and metal drummer of Einstürzende Neubauten from 1981 to the mid-1990s. He composes theater music and has received several awards for his radio plays together with Andreas Ammer.

Prof. Dr. Siegfried Zielinski is a German media theorist and media archaeologist. He is a full member of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts, the Berlin Academy of the Arts, the European Film Academy (EFA), the Magic Lantern Society of Great Britain and an honorary senator of the Institute for Media Archaeology in Hainburg (Austria).

FM Einheit and Siegfried Zielinski have been creative friends for many years.
