Rapid Advances in Artificial Intelligence

The rapid development of artificial intelligence is transforming the world of work in the field of integration support. Between innovative assistance systems, new forms of participation, and fundamental ethical questions, people with disabilities, professionals, organizations, and policymakers are facing far-reaching changes.

Technical Presentations and Workshops

As part of this symposium, we would like to explore current developments, concrete examples of application, and strategic perspectives together with experts from academia, the professional field, and Business Studies.

In addition to expert presentations and hands-on workshops, the focus will be on dialogue: How can AI be used effectively to promote inclusion? What conditions are necessary for responsible implementation? And what are the limitations and risks?

Prof. Michael Boecker(Opens in a new tab) , Associate Dean of the Faculty of Applied Social Studies(Opens in a new tab) , and Dr. Michael Weber, Executive Director of the Krefeld Center for Special Education(Opens in a new tab) , cordially invite you to discuss these questions together, share experiences, and actively help shape the future of inclusion support.
