As part of the International Week at Fachhochschule Dortmund(Opens in a new tab) , the ethics seminar 'Umkämpfte Begriffe' (online block) from module W06.1b with Prof. Dr. Rosenmüller will be opened up for an exchange on the situation of university teaching in Japan and Germany after several semesters of online teaching due to the Corona pandemic:

What contribution can philosophical and political theories of moods and atmospheres make to shed light on the current situation?

The exchange will be organized by one guest lecture from Japan and one from Germany via video conference, followed by a discussion among students and lecturers.

The guests will be:

    Ferris University Yokohama

with a lecture on 'Abandonment and Loneliness in Hannah Arendt's Theory'

Another guest will be:

with a lecture on 'Moods and Atmospheres' in philosophy.
