Part III of the trilogy: Water / Wood / Sand from 2023-2025
With the Water / Wood / Sand trilogy, the Alte Schule Baruth art and culture association set itself the goal for 2023-2025 of placing the town of Baruth-Mark with its past, present and future at the center of artistic exploration. The invited artists will explore the themes of the trilogy, which have been brought into the current focus by society's focus on sustainability and resources.
The 2025 theme deals with artistic research and exploration on the subject of "SAND - raw material as metaphor". The artists were offered workshops in the Museum Glashütte with experienced glass workers who created glass mass from local sand.

WORK FORM and PERFORMANCE: The preparatory work includes the search for cooperation partners, planning, organization and staging of the exhibition. It was developed by a team of the Kunstverein's board and advisory board. Nora Fuchs, Francis Zeischegg, Martin Pfahler, Heinrich Weid, Björn Joschi Baudach and Franziskus Weid were involved. The form of the work is similar to that of a producers' gallery, but as an art association they work on a voluntary basis and pay the budget to the participating artists in the form of exhibition fees.
