Our understanding of Iranian society is heavily influenced by the media. The photographs by Samaneh Khosravi and Jörg winde offer a direct view of people in different areas of life - be it at work, in their free time, at festivities or on the street.
Samaneh Khosravi presented picture series from her book "Banoo", which deals with the position of women in today's Iranian society.
Jörg Winde showed portraits from his VALIASR project of people who live and work on Tehran's longest street, which is 19 km long.
This event is part of the program accompanying the exhibition "IN RÄUMEN. Jörg Winde. Photographs 1984-2024".
