    Content

A solution of Maxwell's equations describing an electromagnetic field is given, from which all known properties of the electron, such as charge, mass, self-energy, spin and Landé factor, are derived. The general law of force on which the gravitational force and the Coulomb force are based is stated, the electromagnetic nature of both forces is explained and the gravitational constant is described by the physical quantities: Planck's constant, the speed of light and the mass of the electron.
