TOO MUCH is a collection of posters that confronts the overwhelming abundance of everything: too much crisis, too much information, too much consumption, too much power, too much noise, too much misunderstanding.

We were asked whether we believe political posters can have an impact. We have to answer that question with another question: Are we supposed to remain silent? Should we, as artists, only create beautiful images? Should we censor ourselves, hide our opinions, look the other way?

“Too much” also means “not enough.” We need togetherness. We need dialogue. We need human warmth. We long for the small things in life—for connection, for closeness, for the simple joy of creating something with our own hands.

Above all, “too much” means “not enough.” We must remain vigilant. The results in Saxony-Anhalt show us that democracy cannot be taken for granted. It is something we must protect together.

Stand up for diversity, respect, and human dignity—and against racism, homophobia, hate, and fascism.
