About the project

The Smart Care Service joint project uses innovative options to minimize bottlenecks in care staff by using resources more efficiently. A platform solution is being developed that brings people in need of care, assistance, support and respite services or household-related services together with available providers in their vicinity in a timely and flexible manner. It is intended to combine some of the functionalities of Amazon and UBER. Fachhochschule Dortmund is involved in analyzing the market and framework conditions, preparing the requirements and process analysis and developing concrete application scenarios. It is responsible for profitability analyses, the development of suitable business models and a decision support system for the fair distribution of the resulting efficiency gains among the partners.
