About the project
Patient monitoring is an indispensable part of medicine. However, it involves a great deal of effort and is often a heavy burden for patients and medical staff. The Medical Technology department at Fachhochschule Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts develops innovative concepts for clinical and non-clinical monitoring. This is based on patient-friendly electronic systems (wearables, contactless measurement technology) and information technology processes, in particular innovative algorithms for signal processing.
