Research
Overview
My research focuses on innovative sensor/measurement technology and aspects of signal processing, image processing and modeling/simulation in the context of biomedical engineering. As a member of the Laboratory on advanced measurements and biomedical data analysis (lambda) , I am primarily concerned with non-invasive methods for vital data acquisition, signal processing and statistical analysis of such data. My research interests lie in particular in
- morphological analysis of signals from photoplethysmography and camera-based photoplethysmography
- modeling and simulation of light-tissue interactions
