As a lively place of knowledge, the Nordstadt Library provided book lovers with easy access to specialist literature and books via an open bookcase from 4 August to 10 August 2023. Interested parties were also able to engage in conversation at an open reading evening and a book swap.
The varied program included a talk with Eva Schameitat, a member of the library staff at Fachhochschule Dortmund.
The open bookcase, which was temporarily set up in front of the Nordstadtgalerie, proved to be a complete success. Numerous book lovers took part in the book swap, helping to create a lively book community and shared reading opportunities in the north of Dortmund.
