Following the retirement of Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Schwick, Prof. Dr. Tamara Appel took over the rectorate of Fachhochschule Dortmund on March 1, 2023.
"Professionally, it was the job of my life," Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Schwick wrote in a farewell email to all UAS employees on his last day at work. Prof. Dr. Tamara Appel, who is now acting Rector for a transitional period, left the honor of presenting the four new Vice-Rectors with their certificates of appointment in the presence of her predecessor.
