Guest researcher in the field of architectural theory

Barbora Řepková is an art historian specializing in modern architecture. She is currently completing her doctorate in art history at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague with a dissertation on architectural education in Czechoslovakia in the interwar period. Recently, she has also been involved in the research project "Invisible Agents in Architecture (1908-1938)", which investigated the activities of the Czech and Austrian Ministries of Public Works and was carried out in cooperation between the Czech and Austrian Academies of Sciences (IAH CAS and IHB ÖAW). During her guest stay at Fachhochschule Dortmund, she will focus on a comparative study of Czech and German historiographical approaches to architectural education.
