Fruit, fruitier, fruitiest: This year’s Juicy Beats festival could hardly have been any fruitier. The juiciest orange was at the FH booth—with more than the recommended daily dose of Vitamin Yeah.
At 12 noon sharp, the umbrellas popped open, casting their saffron-colored shadows onto the lounge chairs, where partygoers settled in just a short while later, transforming the FH booth into a peacefully buzzing and laid-back hotspot of the festival.
In the orange-tinged, 27-degree “feel-good” triangle between the cocktail stand, the party tent featuring DJs Björn Polanski and DJ Vokke, and the university marketing booth with sunglasses, slush ice, and water tattoos—with grass between our toes and beneath a sky of the deepest lapis lazuli—the festival spirit flourished uninhibitedly, breaking through the concrete of everyday life in our minds and hearts like wildflowers and flooding our spirits with nourishing, feel-good vibes.
