Participation in the 5th Dortmund Science Conference

Prof. Dr. Sabine Sachweh(Opens in a new tab)  represented Fachhochschule Dortmund and IDiAL at the 5th Dortmund Science Conference. Together with Lord Mayor Thomas Westphal, she was a guest in the panel discussion on the science conference's focus areas of health, diversity and digitalization.

She also chaired the "Smart" session, where she and doctoral student Jonas Sorgalla(Opens in a new tab)  gave a presentation on the current IDiAL research project Plug-In in the context of human-computer interaction.

Plug-In deals with the adoption of assistance functions in household appliances in order to enable individual, interactive and customized operation of appliances for the respective user.
