Example: You need the item for a term paper that you want to complete on September 30. A medium that is not returned until October 1 is therefore not of interest to you. In this case, you can enter September 30 at this point. Your reservation will then be automatically canceled after this date. The field can, of course, also be left blank. Please note: An entry in this field does not guarantee that you will be able to borrow a book until the date entered!
By clicking on "Calculate waiting list" you can see your place on the waiting list for the respective item.
Click on"Send order". You will then receive a confirmation.
If necessary, you can cancel your reservations via your library account under "My orders".
Important notes on reservation
Please pay close attention to the signature(Opens in a new tab) of the copy you have reserved. You will find this in the pick-up notification. This will help you avoid confusion with other copies of the same book that have been reserved or ordered by other users. You can only borrow the exact copy that is reserved on your account!
Postage costs will be charged for postal notification.
It is not possible to reserve items that have not been borrowed.
Ordering media (branch order)
What is an order?
Items that are not on loan can be ordered from all library locations to another location.
Free delivery of the item to the desired location with reservation for 7 opening days.
A pick-up notification will be sent to the customer by e-mail or post after the item has arrived.
At the end of the loan period, you can return the item to the location where you borrowed it.
At all library locations there are separate shelves/areas where you can collect items yourself.
